Develop a tool for consultants and SME managers in order to:
  • Help understand CSR as a concept
  • Help to visualize CSR benefits for the company, according to different business perspectives
  • Support the identification of a tailored CSR strategy/ CSR activities to be implemented within the company, according to existing mission and vision/ stakeholders social demands
  • Guide the definition and implementation of a CSR plan
  • Help to monitor performance through an adapted version of the Balanced Scorecard

The tool structure
  • The tool offers a complete "step by step" process, suitable to help SMEs to implement social responsible activities and to proof the quality and the effects of these activities.
  • It’s up to the SME manager with the support of the consultant to decide, according to different cases, which steps need a deeper analysis work, and which ones can be undertaken easily and in a quicker way.
